Abstract

This document is a guide to the data products derived from the measurements made by the Earth Probe Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (EP/TOMS), and processed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). It discusses the calibration of the instrument, the algorithm used to derive ozone values from the measurements, uncertainties in the data, and the organization of the data products. The data begin July 25, 1996 and are ongoing at the time of this publication. These data are being archived at the Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Distributed Active Archive Center (DAAC)
